Wat Chedi Luang at Night

2016 Thailand

A Low Key Day

Today was a low key day. I started the day with my normal routine, morning meditation at Wat Chedi Luang, breakfast at 3-Sis, yoga at Wild Rose Yoga, followed by lunch at See You Soon and some more computer catch-up.

See You Soon is a new coffee shop / restaurant / guest house a short block away from 3-Sis. It is owned by Ice and her husband Bon. Ice is one of the 3 Sisters who own 3-Sis. Actually, I am unsure who owns what – it all seems to be a family endeavor. Poppy manages 3-Sis, and is helping Ice and Bon with See You Soon, so I see her at both places.

Wat Chedi Luang at Night

I walk by and around Wat Chedi Luang more than once per day. The temple is always dramatic. It is a large temple and important to the Buddhist people. Bus loads of Thai people come to see Wat Chedi Luang every day, along with bus loads of people from other places. During the day, it is busy. In the early morning and at night, it is more peaceful.

I took a few pictures to see if the nighttime beauty and drama translate to the images. You can judge.
